The Commissioner can force government agencies to provide information
Government agencies must meet deadlines set by the Commissioner for performance management processes
The Commissioner is not personally liable for actions done in good faith
The Minister can remove an acting Commissioner from office at any time
The Procurement Minister cannot delegate functions regarding local procurement policy
The Board can now manage the debarment of suppliers; it can also change or cancel authorisations
Publications regarding the Local Jobs First Act 2026 have absolute privilege against defamation claims
